General

The Canary Islands consists of seven main islands of volcanic origin, situated opposite the west coast of Africa, at about 1,100 km from the Iberian Peninsula and are a major seaside destinations of international tourism.

From the administrative point of view, this archipelago is divided into two provinces:

· Las Palmas, on which they depend Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura;
· Santa Cruz de Tenerife, on which they depend Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro.

It also has a dual capital that is divided between Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The Canary Islands, for their strategic location, being in band sub-tropical Atlantic Ocean off the coast of sub-Saharan Africa, allow people to enjoy an enviable quality of life in a unique natural environment, having a Spring like weather throughout the year, with an average annual temperature ranging between a minimum of 18 ° C and a maximum of 25 ° C.

Specify that the% of humidity is very low even summer and the climate is not humid like in Italy during the period of greatest heat.

The climate reflects the influences of winds and warm waters of mitigated by the current coming from the Gulf of Mexico.
The climate, the typical vegetation and its landscape, make the Canary Islands and a continuing attraction of the tourist destinations preferred by Europeans for leisure and relaxation.

The climate in each island is influenced and conditioned by geomorphological them.

In fact, the reliefs that characterize some islands, obstruct the paths of winds from the north, giving rise to two different climatic conditions:

· Cool damp and rainy where the winds come and make their influence felt.

· Dry and sunny where they can not reach or at least where they can run away without any hindrance (Playa del Ingles and Mas Palomas)

Gran Canaria is the most southerly island of the Canaries, with a total area of 1560 km ², has a maximum height above sea level of about ml.1.950 and overall has the best climate and tourism.

The island of Gran Canaria is the best destination for fleeing frequently rainy and / or a heat wave for godersene a drier and temperate.

The area that we propose is to the south of Gran Canaria, Playa Del Ingles and called MasPalomas enjoying a sunny climate continuously where the winds do not hindered by the relief to the north allow a sky always clear.
Also here you can enjoy the tourist activities from January to December, with a Spring like weather, participating in various tourist attractions such as the most important in February or March's magnificent Carnival of Gran Canaria
